Our Annual Meeting team is busy planning a great day of excellent speakers, Alliance board and officer elections, a year in review and planning for the year ahead. So save the date, bookmark this page, and check back often as we fill in all the details!

Keynote speaker: Kate Kelly, Esq.

From her website: “Kate Kelly is a zealous advocate and passionate activist. She has a JD from American University Washington College of Law, the only law school in the world founded by, and for, women. She graduated cum laude in 2012, and received the Class of 2012 Peter M. Cicchino Award for Outstanding Advocacy in the Public Interest. She is a vocal women’s rights champion in the U.S., and around the world.

Kate believes the simple and popular adage that women’s rights are human rights, and is committed to legal advocacy & education for women & other marginalized groups. She is a nationally-known advocate for ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, and Host of the podcast Ordinary Equality. She has a forthcoming book also called “Ordinary Equality” about the history of the women who have shaped the U.S. Constitution.”

Elections

This year we will be electing our entire Executive Council as well as three new Board of Directors members. Meet the candidates our nominations committee has assembled; additional nominations may be accepted at the Annual Meeting. Please see the Call for Nominees page for more information.

Register

We are pleased to offer once again the combined registration plus discounted 2023 dues bundle! Joining or renewing before October 19th will activate your dues immediately and will ensure you are a member in good standing, eligible to vote on issues and in the elections. Your membership will be in effect through December 31, 2023. If you are a NEW member, please fill out the ERA-NC Individual Membership Form.

In-person registration is $30, including lunch; you can add on discounted membership dues for just $25 more. Registration to join the Annual Meeting via Zoom is just $10; after registering here, you will receive an email invitation for Zoom. Please be sure to follow all the way through the PayPal payment process* after you hit the ‘Submit and Pay’ button.
